To avoid pulling and breakage I don't use heat to dry my hair, nor did I ever use a flat iron unless it was a special occasion. With this shopix comb I no longer need to wait for a special occasion! I brush my hair first, then use the heat glove to hold out a section of my hair and slide the comb through. It doesn't pull on or break my hair, and I'm done in less than 10 minutes.
